There was man with IQ 4000. That Mr. 4000 asked a surgeon to bring all his equipment to patient's bedroom in his home, and do the surgery at patient's tiny bedroom in home. Because patient cant be moved outside his bedroom. The surgeon may refuse, as bringing all equipment to patient's home isnt viable. And then Mr. 4000 declared that that surgeon is a failure !!!

Next, Mr. 4000 asked a forensic expert that he must bring all his equipment to crime scene, and do analysis --- he cannot take ANY sample out of the room. The forensic expert said NO. And then Mr. 4000 called him a failure.

And next, Mr. 4000 asked a pathologist to bring all his equipment to murder scene, and do a postmortem. And condition was - he cant take any blood etc outside the room. The pathologists said NO, And Mr. 4000 called him a failure.

Thats what ECI will do now.

To hack an hardware, one needs to reverse engineer the hardware first. And reverse engineering a hardware needs examination of that hardware PCB under powerful microscope - literally. The distance between wires can be as small as 1 mm or even less, and PCB can have 2 layers or even 7 layers or even 14 layers !!! No one can reverse engineer it within hours and never with just naked eye examination. Thats is worse than asking a doctor to do blood analysis by merely examining blood with naked eyes. And many equipment are needed to reverse engineer a hardware. No hacker can bring all his equipment to ECI's office --- just as no surgeon can bring all his equipment to patient's home, and no foresinc expert can bring all his equipment at scrime scene.

And unlike surgery, reverse engineering takes WEEKS and months. And ECI will give ONLY some 5 hours to a hacker to hack an EVM.

Disallowing a hacker to analyse his equipment in his lab, and then calling him a failure is sick joke, that ONLY an EVM andhbhagat will find funny !!

All in all, EC's hackathon is no hackahon. It is sham
