Give me the trucking contract to ship EVMs from BEL to Collectors' offices across India --- NOTA will get 100% votes in the EVMs !!!

Why Election Commission's hackathon is a sham, shame, nonsense, joke and utter waste of nation's time

If ECI is real, it should sell EVMs for twice the cost price to ANY hacker who wants to buy. Then hackers can show to public how EVMs can be rigged at mass scale by rigging code in chip (made in USA) , and / or changing parts in BEL factory and/or changing parts in trucks , in a way, that NO ECI staff will even notice that EVMs have been tempered.

Giving EVM to "hacker", then asking him not to open it or change parts is like telling a hacker that - show how petrol pump can be hacked without opening the pump, and then claiming that petrol pumps cant be hacked

There are 15 lakh EVMs in India. Every year, ECI disposes some 1 lakh EVMs can buys new one. The insiders such as CIA , ISI etc can always get 100s of "disposed of" EVMs by bribing peon level officers of "disposing" EVMs - the officers can sell EVMs and mark EVMs as disposed off. So REAL criminals have 100s of EVMs in their labs to make duplicate parts

Now ECI tells ethical hackers that they cant take EVMs to their own labs, even if ethical hackers are willing to pay twice or thrice the cost. It is NOT that EC has shortage of EVMs - there are 14 lakh EVMs in India And every year , ECI disposed some 1 lakh EVMs and buys new ones. So EC has plenty of EVMs to sell to ethical hackers at twice the cost price.

The real criminals have EVMs in their labs and also have design documents; stolen copies. The ECI will show only opened EVMs to ethical hackers !! In other words - THERE IS NO LEVEL FIELD between real criminals and ethical hackers. If ECI was honest about knowing how real criminals can temper EVMs in bulk, least it would do is to sell EVMs to hackers at twice the cost. After all, real criminals have 100s of EVMs with them already.

So all in all, this hackathon is a sham and a shame. It only proves that - if you cant change EVM parts, you can change votes. Well, shelock, we never disputes that, What anti-EVM folks have said all along is (a) one can change parts in trucks or at vendors' warehouses which ship chips and parts to EVMs to BEL (b) and using that, one can rig lakhs of EVMs with few dozen people.
