On all fruits/vegetables costing more than say Rs 10 per piece, we should encourage farmers to put labels, which has longnitude / latitude of center of his farm and also farmer's aadhar card number
.
The law should only state --- a farmer will be FREE NOT to put any such label. But NO ONE except farm owner can put such label. And a farmer cannot put label on fruits / vegetables which are NOT grown in his farm. And if a box has label, then ALL items in that box must be from same farm. And no one except farmer can put any such label.

So what would be minus points of such labels?

One minus point is that patriotic buyers may start boycotting apples grown in farms of secessionist minded farmers in JK.

But a plus point is --- each farmer becomes a brand name !!! And brand name has value. Now whatever quality checkes he puts, those who believe in his brand will be benefitted.
