More I dig about Paresh Rawal's movie OMG = Ogh my God , more mud is coming out. The movie was created by Viacom a Missionary owned company to throw mud on Hindu traditation of murti purja and show murti purja in negative light. And movie also makes fun of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj via a character played by Mithun Chakravarti as someone who ants to make money via spiritualism.
The problem with Hinduism is NOT at all with murti pooja. The problem is with inheritance in ownership of temples (pls see my article on problem and the solution to this problem of inheritance at facebook . com/groups/righttorecallparty/10152190088748103/ )
The mocking of idol worship is not to promote athiesm , but to reduce faith in Hinduism. And if one faith goes away, and space isnt taken by athiesm, then the space is taken by some another religion. Thats has been one of the missionary methods to expand their faith across world. Via movies, they ridicule the elements of others' religions, such as idol worship, which will make youth of the religion ashamed of practicing their religion's rituals.
The movie mocked idol worship and also made fun of Hindu sadhus. In one scene, Paresh Raval breaks his idol. Now none can claim it as insult, because he had broken his own idol. But the scene makes insult of all idols. If idol breaking is so good, in the name of "oh !!! this was just as idol of clay and not any real person", then will someone who opposes idol worship break idol of his own father? Or is he willing to throw mud on picture of his own father? Why not? After all, that is also an idol and just a picture !! So it is not a piece of clay that he was breaking. Using the movie, movie makers were insulting the whole tradition of idol worship.
The movie was entertaining and so it was a hit. But using entertainment, the movie-making company Viacom aimed at mocking traditions of Hinduism. And Paresh Raval worked with them. Now Paresh Raval can always escape by saying that "well, I was just as actor", but it is not so. Most established actors decide which lobby to side with, and then work in the movies which promotes the agenda of that lobby. Essetially, the misisonary lobby is very wealthy, and so many actors (not all) decided to work with that lobby for their own selfish interest. The missionary lobby promotes actors etc which help them in making fun of Hindu traditions, then these lobbies not just pay, but also promote actors who help them in all fields.
So all in all, things have made 180 degree turn and sadder part is that very few have even noticed. The leaders of RSS , VHP , BJP etc call themselves as protectors of Hinduism and Hindu traditions, and and now they are all promoting an actor as MP. And not just any actor, but same actor Paresh Raval who works with missionaries in making movies which make fun of Hinduism, reduce belief of youth in Hinduism and make them feel ashamed of Hindu traditions, so that converting them becomes easy. And RSS-workers, BJP-workers and VHP-workers will be all campaigning for him !! This is what happens when workers are guided by andh-bhakti and not any law-drafts.
Another sad part will be that Sri Sri Ravi Shanker Maharaj will support BJP and his devotees too will vote for BJP. Are they aware that Paresh Raval worked in movie OMG which made fun of Sri Sri Ravi Shanker Maharaj via character played by Mithun Chakravarti? I guess they are not aware. Not yet.
Solution?
Solution I propose is that we activists should ask all RSS-activists, BJP-activists and VHP-activists to dump andh-bhakti and focus on the relations Paresh Raval with lobbies and companies which made the movie OMG. The workers should be asked to see that movie twice again, and understand the motives of Viacom-owners which made this movie. And then understand why Paresh raval took that role. If that part is analysed, then Hoinduvaadies will see that Paresh Raval decided to work for missionaries so that missionaries and MNC-owners who are in tandem with missionaries will not only give him roles, promote his movies but also later promote him in politics. And from ther, the workers can decide how powerful the enemy is. And solution is NOT vyakti-andh-pooja, but law-drafts. Which law-drafts? That will be another long discussion.

About my beliefs : I do believe partly in idol worship. I used to be believer till I was some 12 years old, became athiest after that. At the age of 25 years, I became semi-athiest i.e. I believe in God 3 days a week. On Tue-Wed-Thus, I believe in God and on Mob-Fri-Sat , I dont believe in God. And on Sundays I am off. And on Thus, I worship picture of Devi Indira Amma, whom I consider as avataar of Devi Durga. But Tue-Wed, I dont practice idol worship.
Why I am writing it now and not 2 years back : Too many wrong things happen. I cant find time to write against all of it. I disliked movie OMG because it ridiculed Hindu beliefs, but didnt write against it due to lack of time. But now the missionary lobby has become so strong that it can plant actors who help them making movies which ridicules Hindu faith into MP position !! So I decided not to ignore it.
