Referendum for OPTIONAL open vote
USA and whole world had open vote till 1860 to1880s and sky didnt fall.

So many bikau political science professors scream that OPTIONAL open voting will finish Bharat and all Bharatiya within weeks.

They never mention the FACT that Americans elected 19 presidents and 38 loksabha MPs using open vote till 1884. In each district, people elected judges , p;olice chiefs, public prosecutors using open vote till 1970 - 1880 . UK elected all MPs from 1300 ad to 1870 using open vote. Confidential vote was framed by Lord Macualay ( yes, same guy ) so that ballot boxes can be changed !!! His famous quote was - let secret ballot come, so that gaurd can decide winners !!!

Now there has been referendum in Goa in 1967. So referendum is constitutional in Bharat.

My proposal is - we should have confidential paper ballot based referndum whether voters should have OPTION for open vote. My vote will be YES in that referendum. And if and when open vote OPTION becomes available, I will use open vote only.
