old jun-2012 news - bikau Election Commission declares 14 bikau Congress MLAs' votes INVALID in Haryana's Rajyasabha elections. The bikau presiding officer declares votes invalid because he says bikau MLAs used their own pen and not the pen provided by presiding officer !! And bikau MLAs say that they used the pen provided by the bikau presiding officer ONLY !!
.
Haryana has 90 MLAs (all bikau). Congress had some 35 MLAs, agaon, all bikau. Of which, 14 MLAs' votes were declared INVALID. Quite an "achievement" by congress or presiding officer.
.
At this rate, people will stop watching comedy movies. Why watch movies, and EC is providing so much comic entertainment !!!
.
All this mess can be voided by using EVMs. If EVMs are used, votes can be changed by using remote control and no one would see. And EVM-andhbhagats can be asked to shout that "EVMs are hacker proof" !! and thus close the matter. When EVMs are NOT used, the corruption becomes public. So EVMs should be used in RS elections.
