My vote in this referendum will be - YES for both - opium and ganja
.
Opium and Ganja were 100% legal in India till 1955. In 1950s, pharma companies bribed Ministers etc put ban on opium/ganja so that sale of painkiller drugs and psychiatric drugs increase. Later, they found that ban on opium/ganja increases sale of alcohol and tobacco and this further increases illnesses/cancers and increases their profits. The increase in sale of alcohol also increased violence and this increased the income of lawyers, policemen, judges, Ministers etc !! And banning opium / ganja created a 10 to 100 times price increase and so profits of policemen, judges, lawyers and Ministers via smugglers further increased !!

All in all, EACH voter should now come forward and tell whether he supports this ban on opium / ganja or not..

In India, two referendum were taken in Goa. So procedure of referendum is legal. and constitutional

In India, SoMoKe have opposed the proposal of taking referendum on opium/ganja of any issue. They support ban on opium / ganja , which imo is fine - their choice. But their opposing referendum on these two issues show their anti-democratic ideology,

Congress / RSS / AAP workers have supported ban on opium / ganja, which again is fine - their choice. But Congress / RSS / AAP workers have openly opposed the proposal to take referendum on these two issues !! This again shows their anti-democracy ideology.

All of us at RRP support referendum on opium/ganja issue. Not all of us at RRP though support legalization. So many of us will vote NO in the referendum. What would people of India vote? My guess is - first referendum will result in ban on opium/ganja and next referendum will result in complete legalization of opium/ganja. But time will tell.
