There was NO Modi wave in Delhi Municipal election !!

(a) Mahatma Arvind Gandhi wave that bikaumediamen had created in feb-2015 Delhi assembly elections wasnt there

(b) and congress in feb-2015 had campaigned for ArKe and this time it campaigned for itself !!

Lets see some NUMBERS (all numbers are rounded off)

Delhi Assembly feb-2015

no of voters in Delhi Assembly = 132 lakhs
voters voted = 86 lakhs
votes AAP got = 49 lakhs
votes Cong got = 7 lakhs
votes BJP got = 28 lakhs

no of voters in MCD = 133 lakhs
voters voted = 71 lakhs
votes AAP got = 19 lakhs
votes Congress got = 15 lakhs

So number of votes of BJP has NOT increased, but decreased by 3 lakhs !!! Where is Modi wave? If there was Modi wave, then number of voters should have increased !!! So notebandi has NOT increased any support for Modiji. It is also true that BJP's support has NOT decreased much. But there is NO modi wave to be seen,

Reality is that most voters find ALL parties hopeless and do they dont vote. But in feb-2015, bikaumediamen had projected Mahatma Arvind Gandhi as some savior masinha etc and so many voters got fooled and came out for voting and voted for Mahatma Arvind Gandhi, In feb-2015, even national channels used to show Mahatma Arvind Gandhi 24 hours --- showing him do Yoga and what not

And in feb-2013, Congress MLA candidates and workers were running from pillar to post asking all Congress voters to vote for AAP !! All Maulvies and Dalit activists were asking all voters to vote for AAP. (eg one Congress MLA got mere 900 voted in feb-2015 assembly !!! ). This time, congress decided to teach Mahatma Arvind Gandhi a lesson, to show him his aukat, and so did NOT campaign for AAP. And so Congress voters came back to Congress. And so number of Congress votes increased from 7 lakhs to 15 lakhs

And this time, paidmediamen were giving better coverage to Modiji.

My point is --- victory was AAP in feb-2015 was SOLEY due to bikaumediamen and Congress transferring its votes to AAP. And this time, those two factors got away. Bikaumediamen raised such a pro-AAP frenzy frenzy in feb-2015 so an extent that lakhs of people who otherwise dont vote came out to vote and vote for AAP. And this time, they pitched for Modiji, and so AAP voters felt demotivated,m didnt vote and Congress voters went back to congress

So paidmediamen and Congress had made AAP win in feb-2015. This time, they took away that victory

So there was NO Modiji wave in voters , despite huge paidmediamen coverage.

Voters are fed up with Congress / BJP / AAP and also fed up with SoGa / NaMo / ArKe. They are merely voting the person / party they hate least with hope that it can defeat the party / person they hate most.

So all this talks of Modi-wave in Delhi MCD election is just paidmedia nonsense and nothing else. If there was a wave in VOTERS, then why did voters did NOT come out to come? And why did votes of BJP went down by about 2 lakhs (of course, votes of AAP went down by 30 lakhs). And why did votes of Congress went up by 8 lakhs?

One should also do ABSOLUTE VOTE analysis for UP loksabha may-2015 and UP assembly feb-2017 elections as well.
