IMO = in my opinion, the method of sending SMS / letters to MPs / PM is now useless.
.
Please ONLY send tweets to @PmoIndia . And tweet has link, then one link must be link to mygov dot in . And you may keep other links. And if you runout of 140 characater limit, then pls send 2-3 tweets on same topic , but not more
.
The tweet may have sha1 hashcode of the proposal pdf you want PM / CMs to print
.
But imo, sending SMS / letters, in these days. is timepass and useless
.
The sender should keep voterid in his tweeter profile.
.
This is my opnion. As far as campaign methods go, each one is on his own anyway.
.
===============
.
What of voter doesnt have smartphone?
-------------------------------------------------
.
Any person, such as relative / neighbor etc can take two steps
.
step-1 : relative / neighbor can open a twitter account for that voter, using PC / smartphone owned by relative / neighbor, and
.
step-2 : relative / neighbor can attach the mobile number of that voter with the newly made twitter account.
.
I havent personally verified it, but I have heard from people that it can be done.
.
And then the voter using his dumb phone can send SMS to twitter server and the tweet will come on his account.
.
IOW, using dumbphone, a voter can send tweets to @PmoIndia .
.
===================
/
And in case tweets cant sent from dumbphone, then sms can be used
.
But if a person has smartphone, then we MUST NOT ask him to send SMS. We should aks him ONLY to send tweets to @PmoIndia / @CmoState etc..
