Doctors become target of patients
.
We all voters of India should ask @PmoIndia to print law that all cases of beatings or doctors / nurses should be taken to fast track court, and hospitals must have CCTV cameras as many as needed so that every corner is recorded.

Pls tweet "@PmoIndia #TakeDoctorBeatingCasesToFastTrackCourts "

The existing punishment of beating anyone is upto 3 years in prison and uoto 7 years if beating causes serious injury. This law is SUFFICIENT to stop all violence, but judges in most cases take bribes and let culprit walk away. But in fast track court, since judgments come in 2-3 months, the judge will get immidiately exposed and so chances that judge will take bribe in open and shut cases will reduces.
.
Countries like Australia have 3 years to 7 years in prison for normal beating cases, but punishment for beating medico is upto 14 years. Such separate law is desirable, but will take obvious delays.
.
The long term solution is Jury System. We at RRP are working on it.
.
A quick immediate solution is to take all cases of doctor beating to fast track courts
.
Once a few IMMIDIATE cases of imprisonment comes, the fear against beating medicos will increase.
