Some small changes I have proposed in elections
.
(1) Candidate need NOT have any proposer
.
(2) Any candidate can give affidavit six months ahead of poll for a fee of Rs 1000. And ECI or DC will accept or reject affidavit based as per law. So on form filling day, candidate needed NOT give affidavit if he has already given one affidavit in past 6 months.

(3) Each Party will need to submit its wealth statement
.
(4) Form given cannot be withdrawn
.
(5) Party can give list of its candidfates in order six months ahead of poll or anyday before form filling date and candidate can mention which parties he wants to stand for in order.

(6) The deposit for MP election will be
.
(6a) Minimum = Rs 50000
(6b) Max = Rs 10 lakhs
(6c) 1% of candidate's wealth as stated in affidavit plus 5% of candidates average income as stated in affidavit or income tax returns in past 3 years, but max deposit will be Rs 10 lakhs
(6d) PLUS additional (1/543 * 2%) of wealth of Party, with cap of Rs 10 lakhs

(7) The candidate needs to give expense report ONLY at the end of the election and NOT during election
.
(8) The candidate can report his activity etc using APP and will NOT need to personally appear to get signature. And candidate will NOT need approval for RO etc for any newspaper advt

Now those who have contested elections will see value of not having proposers. And thos who never contested elections will never understand why proposers should not be needed. Likewise, those who never contested elections will never understand why expense reporting must be done ONLY once and not 3-4 times during election !! And why reporting of events etc should be done via APP.

All in all, those who contest elections become familiar with REAL problems. Those who dont contest elections never become familar with many many real problems
