Why such surgical strikers were not carried out during 1999 Kargil war INSIDE LoC?
.
One big disadvantage we had was --- Pakistani soldiers in Kargil attack were at a height. Where as this time, enemy was at same level.
.
But a big advantage in Kargil we had was that enemy was inside LoC and enemy was not in position to get any supplies from Pakistani army's main units i.e. the Pakistani soldiers positioned on moutain tops in Kargil were cutt off from Pakistan's main units. !!
.
So why didnt Indian Army back then carried surgical strikes inside Loc and killed away all Pakistani soldiers?

Why did Army waged a long Kargil war
.
And why did BJP leaders had to run to USA to ask for USA's help?
.
FYI --- NaMo spent over 40 days to 60 days in USA during Kargil wars appealing to IMF / WB apex officials, US-gov-executives and US law-makers , requesting them to force Pakistan to withdraw !!!

So why do all this and not simply carry out "surgical strikes" during Kargil war?
.
