An argument against Jury System --- and what is your counter-argument?

Say an upper caste man has committed crime against dalit. And say 500 voters are chosen at random from voter list to decide as Jury. Now of these 500, some 400 will be upper caste and OBC, and only 100 will be dalit. So what if these 400 Jurors decide to discriminate?

IOW, if casteism exists, then can Jury System make much of difference in reduce caste atrocities?

This question will come whenever we propose that "Jury System will reduce caste atrocities"
