Finally, all problems are reduced by engineers, doctors, scientists, technicians, labor and (real) investors. Then does world need activists?

Take any problem the commons or nation faces. The final solution comes only from engineer , scientists, doctors, technicians etc.

eg consider the problem, that women were kept suppressed in home. The fathers and brothers would restrict their daughters and sisters, and husbands used to keep their wives suppressed. The freedom came because scientists, engineers, doctors made blood test and later DNA tests to reduce paternity uncertainty to zero and also improved birth control to avoid unwanted pregnancy. With risk of unwanted pregnancy coming to zero, and with paternity uncertainity coming to zero, males lost reason to restrict their daughters, sisters or wives and women faced less risk. And so the 1000s of year old problem, that women had less freedom, reduced. Assorted feminists claim credit for their useless works. But at core, the solution came by science, engineering and medicine ONLY.

Next consider the problem of communication. Once, rich could afford telephones. And engineers and scientists worked hard, and made phone so dirt cheap that even starving can now afford a mobile phone !!

Next, consider the problem of heating and cold. Many used to die due to heat and cold. And now scientists, engineers etc made energy so cheap that heaters and fans and even acs may become affordable in times to come.

Likewise, consider problem of starvation. Some 100 years back, population was 2 billion and yet there was starvation. And now population is 7 billion and starvation has vanished. Again, it is because assorted scientists etc made improvements in irrigation, tractors to improvement in transportation.

So finally --- the questions comes before us all activists. If all problems eventually come down by scientists, engineers, doctors, technicians, labor and investors, --- then does world really need true activists?
