Huge paidmedia expenditure is done to publicize nobel prize. The nobel prize is just some $ 1.2 million = about Rs 7 crore. But the lobbies which promote nobel prize spend 1000 times amount in paidmedia to create "awe" for nobel prizes. And 100s of journalists are paid to create a myth that nobel prizes are NOT politically motivated, and 1000s of journalists are paid to keep their mouths shut on this issue.

Nobel prizes in sciences reflect real work. But nobel prizes in economics, peace and literature are used to promote individuals who play roles that promote interests of western lobbies. Essentially, the awards are used to promote hitmans as saints in shining armor.

Most awards like Ramon Magsasay award etc are used for same purposes. They are used to promote individuals who work as hitman to western lobbies as activists. But Nobel Prize is mother of all such awards.
