How to "follow" a person on facebook -- (a) do NOt depend on newsfeed (b) go to his wall and see "All stories" and NOT just the defaul "Highlight" mode !!

IOW, you must go to his wall, and see his wall in "All stories" mode and NOT the defaul mode i.e. "Highlight" mode !! How to switch to "All stories" mode? read on ....

If you like a person's posts, then please do NOT expect facebook to show all his posts in your newsfeed or even notifications. For whatever many right and wrong reasons, facebook doesnt no show all his posts in your newsfeed. One reason is --- facebook needs to optimize and overload itself. And another reason is --- facebook does use political filtering.

And even if you go to his wall, and you scroll down on his wall, then also facebook will only show highlighted posts !! And not all posts !! Thats because default view mode is "Highlight" and not "all stories" !!
.
So if you want to read all posts of a person, then please take following steps
.
1. Goto that person's wall.
.
2. press page down , page down , page down
.
3. now on the right side, you will see list of years such as 2014, 2013, 2012 etc in DECREASING order.
.
4. click on a year, it will expand and show months
.
5. click on month.
.
6. Now the top pane will show following
"Name of person" , "Timeline", "Year":, "Highlight"
.
7. Change Highlight to "All stories" !! This is VERY IMPORTANT !! So let me repeat. Please change "Highlight" to "All stories". And this is important. And so I will repeat in caps. PLEASE CHANGE "Highlight" to "ALL STORIES" in your top pane.

8. Now you see posts monthwise !! Start with months you wish to read !!
