SBI home-loan-takers ke achchhe din aa gaye --- SBI sends notice in aug-2014 to many home loan takers asking them to pay higher interest from year 2008 !!! Basically it is a stock market scam engineered by apex persons in NaMo-govt , SBI-Chairman and Raghuram Ghazani. Maybe or may be not, NaMo is also involved.
.
The SBI is asking home loan takers to pay extra interest with back dated effect starting year 2008 !! To give an example, say you took loan of Rs 50 lakhs and in 2008 to 2014, the interest you were asked to pay was 8%. Now in aug-2014 , SBI is sending notice that "you were supposed to pay interest at the rate of 10%, starting jan-2008 till now, and so now pay the difference " !!
.
Surely this notice is illegal. The loan takers will go to court and courts will cancel it. But rimors say that SBI has sent such notice to some 200,000 home loan takers and average amount is Rs 300,000 . Please note that SBI has NOT given any full disclosure on such notices and combined amount.
.
Now if this is true, then this may be a SCAM. Because SBI might be showing the notice amount of Rs 300,000 average per notice * 200,000 notices = Rs 6000 crore as amount recievable, which will increase its profits. So share prices will increase. And when courts tear apart these notices, the balance sheet will worsen and share prices will go down. In between, the insiders will make make money, and uninformed investors will lose.
..
Sending a back dated increase in rate interest, that too, going as back as 6 years is something that courts will tear part. Surely, SBI chairwoman knows it. And sending 200,000 notices is NOT possible without approval of SBI Chairwoman. And SBI is supervised by FinMin and RBI. The action is NOT possible without blessings of Raghuram Ghazani and Jetley. Whether NaMo has given blessings or not needs to be examined.
.
But 200,000 people getting such notices of back dated change in interest rates itself shows poor administration.

I have outlined the solution to all this banking scams way back, and is printed in the book I published in 2008 on net and print copy came in nov-2012. Solution I propose is RTR over SBI Chairman and RTR over RBI Chairman. The details are in chap on banking in rahulmehta . com / 301.htm
