Since jan-2013, just a few weeks after 16-dec-2012 Delhi bus case, we recallists started campaign to decrease juvenile age from 18 years to 16 years and make it lower in case Jury decides so. (please see link in first comment)

We asked voters to send orders to MPs via SMS to change Juvenile law-draft. We started publicizing this law-draft since jan-2013. Not even one BJP leader supported it. Not even Varun Gandhi or Maneka Gandhi.

And now that campaign has finally picked up, BJP leaders are coming forward to hijack the campaign and usurp the credit. Thats all these tall leaders can do --- oppose the activists and if the movement still grows, then hijack the movement and usurp the credit !!!

But please see the FACTS that these BJP leaders hide. They refuse to tell voters and activists that it was ABV and Arun Jetley who had raised the juvenile crime age from 16 years to 18 years in year 2001 !! And back then, Maneka Gandhi was a BJP Minister who had supported this law-draft in Cabinet as well as in Parliament !! And despite the fact that as many as 65% of serious sexual violence cases on women are from "juveniles" between 16 years to 18 years, Maneka Gandhi from 2001 to 2013 refused to demand decrease in juvenile age from 18 years to 16 years !!

And now when movement we recallists started picked up, she has come forward to usurp the credit !!

So folks, we recallists and the "order your MP via SMS campaign works " !! It may happen that credit will get usurped by tall leader and SMS may never get any credit. But why did BJP leaders demand juvenile age of 16 years now, given that they had raised from 16 years to 18 years in 2001? And for 13 long years, they over looked it? Why is that all of a sudden it occued to them, some 14 months after 16-dec-2012 Delhi bus case?

For 14 months, ONLY we recallists were running this campaign. We never goy any support from SoMoke, SoMoKe-andhbhagats and CoBhApSwaRa-workers. Its another matter that now they will all come to ursurp the credit.

So all in all, order you MP via SMS campaign does work, and recent change of heart in BJP-leaders is a proof.
