NaMo's possible policy of MNC-led "development" can bring term goodies to India, but can be a long term disaster.

Summary : MNC-led "development" is trivial - NaMo can just give away plots of about 3% of Indian land i.e. about 90000 sqkm to MNC-owners !! The problem with MNC-led development is that it convert country into a Philippines - a satellite country with mostly low skill technicians and clerks, and even below that once MNC-owners are done with China. The HARD part is making goods and companies as good as USA, using 100% Indian staff. Now thats something , IMO, NO CM, not even the best and the only good PM candidate left, NaMo is in position to deliver. Solution I propose is that we activists should focus on enacting good law drafts such as doubling of urban land, 1% wealth tax, Jury System MRCM, Right to recall PM etc.

=====

DETAILS:

We hear lots of "development" talks all around. Here is TRIVIALLY easy way to develop India to the level of Philippines.

1. India has 32,00,000 sqkm of land. So far, only less than 4% i.e. about 120,000 sqkm of land is used for urban + industrial + mining + roads + railways. Mining is only 0.17% . And and some 46% is used for agriculture, 22% for forest and rest is unused.

2. So if say 90000 sqkm of land is converted into urban + industrial land, and handed over to MNC-owners, then within 5 years, MNC-owners can create enough C-grade jobs, and give employment to all and double the GDP. So MNC-led development is TRIVIAL task that any PM can do.

3. The danger in MNC-led growth is that once MNC-owners are done with China, they no longer need even a country of clerks and technicians. And so once MNC-owners are done with China, MNC-owners will use their powers and base to convert country into a third rate African country. Also, MNC-owners can suddenly go on a disinvestment spree which will bring economy to bottom, and force many to sell their shares, lands etc for peanuts , and then bring economy back. eg in 1990s when MNC-owners wanted to take over South Korean companies, the company owners refused. So MNC-owners block SoKo exports and did a massive disinvestment in SoKo, which bring SoKo economy to bottom. And then SoKo's company owners were forced to sell most SoKo companies to MNC-owners at dirt cheap prices.

4. The real growth is adding skills to citizens , ensuing that ALL skills exists within nation and not just adding material. The real growth IMO is creating companies like Walmart, Microsoft , Intel, Boeing etc which are 100% run by Indians from top to bottom and goods are 100% made in India, not assembled.

Now of course we must add 90,000 sqkm of land to our cities. This is necessary to reduce land prices to promote industry, businesses etc. But ensure that REAL manufacturing grows, we need many more things such as wealth tax on land above 250sqft, Jury System, Right to Recall, MRCM etc etc. This is necessary and sufficient to have real growth in India.

But instead of all this, if all NaMo does is hand over 1% of plots to MNC-owners, then within 10 years , we have all material growth and full employment, but it will be disaster in the long run.
