Many factory owners voted for AAP, and asked ALL their labor to vote for AAP because of AAP promise to cut water/electricity rates by 50% !! They told labor that factories profits and labor's salary will increase if AAP comes into power !!!

I am asking AAP activists how they managed to fool so many people into believing that electricity/water rates will decrease. And this gets better and better !!!

Over 80% AAP activists were unpaid , committed, serious etc etc. And most are well learned. They had no intension of folloing even a mosquito. But they ended up fooling thousands of voters because they themselves were fooled. They fooled people, because AK and paid media had fooled them first !!! AK and paid media actually made them believe that water\electrcity rates will go down by 50%. And everyone will get free water. So when they were peddling this lie to others, they didnt laugh at all, and sounded dead serious !! And so voters agreed with them.

The slum dwellers were told that each family will get 200 coupons booklet every month, where each coupon will fetch them 100 liters from Delhi Jal Board tankers !!

And when activists told factory owners that electricity rates will decrease by 50%, the factory owners held meetings of AAP volunteers in factory compound to convince labor and their family members to vote for AAP !! The volunteers even said that "if electricity rates go half, factories profits will increase and so labor's salaries will also increase !!" And labor's electricity bill will go down.

IOW, it was NOT paid-media which directly fooled the labor. But paid-media convinced activists who convinced factory owner who together with activists convinced the labor voters !!

Thomas Jefferosn said in 1820 that "of people who read nothing and people who read only newspapers, those who read nothing know more and sound more sensible" !!! And TV-channels are more effective than newspapers. And apparently, the activists see more TV channels and also see TV-channels via youtube and so were brainwashed to bigger extent than labor. But then activists' personal presence fooled labor. The labor must have thought "well, if such educated and well earning people are working for free and losing salary for the volunteering work, AAP\AK must be made up of solid gold !!"

Now water prices and electricity prices for factories have gone up !!! So a small number of labor may get even laid off, if factory owner was on break even point.

The moral of story is that if you are an unpaid activist, you better be very careful. The paid journalists are harmless as they cant fool anyone anymore ans nobody trusts them, But if you are unpaid volunteer, and if you have been fooled, then people will trust you and you will end causing more damage !!!

Now if you were an AAP volunteer in Delhi in nov-2013, and if you have fooled slum dwellers, then you have unknowingly sinned. I request you to repent by working to get Right to Recall MLA law-draft printed in Delhi Gazette , so that damage may reduce. Now AK is spreading lies that RTR-MLA is possible ONLY if Parliament makes law !! This is nonsense. Delhi Govt can at least start SMS-based approval filing for alternate MLAs , and create pressure on MLAs. (see draft in chap-40, section-40.4 of rahulmehta . com \301.htm ) . You can call AAP leaders and ask them to print that law-draft in the Gazette.
