I met some 100 cable operators. They have agreed that they will ask over 50000 customers of theirs to order MP via SMS to cancel law which makes digital cable compulsory. !! The SMS they will send will be

"Dear MP, I am ordering you to cancel the law which makes digital cable compulsory. Let customer pick digital or analog. Cancel that law or in next election I will NOT vote for you. Shortcode = CancelDigitalCable "

(those who support Digital Cable compulsory can send SMS other way)

I called Arvind Gandhi if he can ask his volunteers to request 1.25 crore Delhi voters to send above order to MPs via SMS, in favor or against "digital cable-only law". He refused. He said that he supports digital only cable i.e. he wants analog cable should be banned. And opposed the very idea that voters should send such orders to MPs via SMS.

Why he opposes analog cable? Because he said that digital cable makes oligopoly of big channel operators stronger, and they are giving him coverage !! And why he opposes citizens sending orders to MPs via SMS? He said that because if that catches, then his whole AAP-shop will be shut down.

So AAP-activists will not be asking voters to send such orders.
