A huge loss happened to pro-poor movements because many poorists for now reason make fun of God and religion , instead of just setting it aside

Eg1 Mahatma Thomas Paine needlessly criticized many aspects of Christianity. So it became easy for feudalists to block publicization of Agrarian Justice booklet

Eg2 Mahatma sachindranath Sanyal also writes that many freedom fighters were unnecessarily criticising religious beliefs and only reducing audience

My father , Late Shri Chimanbhai Mehta , a freedom fighter , and a pioneer of land redistribution andolan in saurashtra in 1946 , was atheist. But he never made fun or spoke against religious beliefs. He just setaside them. I do same

Many poorists think that poor are poor because of religion. Thats nonsense. Its facthiding about economics and politics. And many atheists like marxists and Marx himself are also facthiders. Facthiding had nothing to do with religion

Imo, there is no need to speak against religious beliefs , if goal is to reduce poverty. Simply focusing on Thomasism , Recallism , Juryism etc are sufficient. Imo, Core problem is facthiding and NOT religion at all
