Why morality and concept of rights in politics is relevant in usa and not in 2026 bharat - because all commons in usa have guns whereas commons in bharat have zero guns
.
The word "rights" as in right to liberty or right to speech or rights over natural wealth ( see agrarian justice by mahatma thomas paine 1797 ) became relevant in usa politics starting 1700 ad are are still relevant today , because everyone in usa had guns. So if policemen and elitemen collude to rob beat commons , then commons may start shooting and policemen will then shoot back and many commons policemen elitemen may get hurt. And so a FRAMEWORK was needed to have firm notions on what must not be stopped by policemen and what must be stopped. And words were needed to enumerate that framework. And so the word 'rights' as in right to speech and right to liberty got usage.
The word 'right over natural wealth' as in agrarian justice was unexpected use !!! When Mahatma Thomas Paine claimed that "all men have equal rights over natural wealth" , he was one the firsts and fews who had used word Rights on this item namely natural wealth.
.
In bharat , as of today , commons have zero guns and near zero strengths. So elitemem use religion morals laws and word 'rights' to create case in their favor . And if that fails , then they supress speech using criminals abd policemen and use raw force !! And then hire intellectuals to create a rightful case in their favor !!!
So use of word 'right' will in end only benefit elitemen !! Because if verbal debate comes in favor of commons, then elitemen will supress speech and pay intellectuals to create right sounding explanation in their favor .
So imo , pro common activists should enumerate their proposals , and work to publicize it and collect votes. And not spend much time in explaining pro elitemen folks why proposals are 'right'
