Out lightsensor evm votechori demo steals votes when there is no light falling directly on vvpat. But our lightsensor evm votechori demo fails to steal vote when light is directly above vvpat !!

Now lets see what eci manual says about setting light on vvpat !!

eci evm vvpat manual contains instructions specifically intended to prevent direct light from falling on the VVPAT.

The manual states:

"When setting up the EVMs and VVPATs in the polling station, the VVPAT should be positioned so as to avoid direct light from falling on it."

"Do not position the VVPAT near an open window or directly under a bulb or halogen lamp."

It also says: "Don't allow direct light or high power illumination over VVPAT.

So light has to be adjusted so that voter presence can be tracked ??
