Claim that remote control can change real evm votes and bypass mockpoll has been around since 1982 ( yes , 1982 !! ) . Mahtma Hariprasad proved in may-2010. Vvpat was made in oct-2010. Vvpat concept has been around since 1998 !!!

But from 2010 to 2017, vvpat was in hardly 10% of booths. And not counted in even one booth.

eg. Even in feb-2017 UP vidhansabha elections, vvpat was only in 10% vidhansabha , but not even one was counted !!

In dec-2017, it became universal ie all booths had vvpats. And onr booth per vidhanaabha was counted. And later, it became 5 booths per vidhansabha.

Vvpat judgment had come in oct-2013.

So why delay of 7 years between mhp vdo and booths?

Because it took 7 years for mhp vdo to reach to a few lakh people !!!

So vvpats came in 10 lakh booths not just because of mhp vdo or judgment. But because lakhs of people had LOST FAITH in Evm after they were shown mhp video by activists.

So NUMBERS matter. judgments are useless. Proof is must. But numbers also matter.

Very have half proof - because machine is home made. So we need bigger number.

So either we need to convince a few lakh to send postcard , or whatsapp msg to pm supeme eci cm mp mla OR we need to show physical blackglass demo to lakhs and crores.

If crores have lost faith in vvpat, then , without any letter or postcard or whatsappmsg , vvpat will be phased out.

So ---show demo to 10s of lakhs or convince few lakhs to send postcard --- i see no other shortcut like PIL etc.
