Proposal : Retention election on MP MLA corporator in bharat after 2 years
.
Say MP MLA corporator term is reduced to 4 years. Say mp is elected in say year 2024. Then retention election can be held in 2026.
.
The rule for retention election can be
.
(1) existing MP need not fill form. He will be candidate no. 1
.
(2) others can apply.
.
(3) winner will be new MP only if he ( gets more votes than existing MP got in this 2026 ekection and previous 2024 election ) or he gets more votes than 51% of all voters in constituency not just those who voted.
