1998 में जब सचिन तेंदुलकर डॉन ब्रेडमैन से मिले थे तो पेड इण्डिया टुडे ने ब्रेडमेन-तेंदुलकर पर एक स्टोरी प्रकाशित की थी। टाइटल था - दिग्गज और उसका अवतार !!

स्टोरी की दूसरी पंक्ति कहती थी -- तब ब्रेडमेन सिर्फ ऑस्ट्रेलिया ही नहीं बल्कि उन सभी देशो का बदला लेने वाले अवतार बन गए थे, जहाँ जहाँ ब्रिटिश रूल था !!

मुझे तब भी ये बड़ा अजीब लगा था कि, कॉलोनियल रूल का बदला लेने की भरपाई वे उन्हें क्रिकेट में हराकर कर रहे थे !! और काफी बाद में समझ आया कि, दरअसल पेड मीडिया द्वारा इसे इस तरह क्यों प्रस्तुत किया जाता है !!!

(*) जहाँ तक स्टोरी की बात है। मैंने तब तक मुख्य धारा के किसी भी मीडिया में इतनी हास्यास्पद स्टोरी नहीं पढ़ी थी। सचिन को नायक की तरह उभारने के लिए लेखक ने यह साबित करने की असफल कोशिश की थी कि सचिन का खेल डॉन के समकक्ष है !! यही वो समय था जब से पेड मीडिया ने सचिन को क्रिकेट का भगवान पुकारना शुरू किया था। इसके लिए ब्रेडमेन की मुहर की जरूरत थी। अत: ब्रेडमेन से यह कहलवाया गया कि - सचिन मेरी तरह खेलता है !!

The football match was portrayed by news Media as a revenge match for Argentina to avenge the loss in the war.

The match was won by Argentina in which footballer Maradona scored 2 goals out of which 1 goal famously called the "Hand of God" goal was scored by him with his hand. ( as per football rules one cannot touch the ball with hands . )
But the referees of the match may have deliberately overseen this error.
The match may have been fixed/scripted beforehand.
Why it may have been fixed/scripted ( only Narcotest of players and organisers can truly confirm this fixing ) :-
1. To cool down the argentinian public so that they are just satisfied with the sports win and do not think about real avenging by taking back the Falkland islands .
2. Argentinian youth and children focus more on time wasting activities like commercial sports and take it as a career ( by promoting fake ideals like Maradona ). instead of focusing on maths science education so as to improve their economy and military.
These fake ideals through their lifestyle also promote degeneracy like drugs , alcohol, adultery etc
3. Sports win often causes fake feel good factor in public so that focus can be removed from real issues like poverty , corruption, weakening military etc.

Similar analogy in India-
One can ofter hear following statements amongst sports fan like cricket-
1. " we have avenged the 200 years rule of British by defeating them in cricket matches "
2. England the origin of cricket has not won cricket world cup ( they finally won 50 over WC in 2019)
3. " we have never lost to Pak in cricket world cup "
These statements are often given by famous sports and political personalities. E.g.
1. Sachin tendulkar saying after 2011 WC semi final that we have defeated Pak 5 times in a row now
2. mauka mauka ad during 2015 world cup in which it was shown india making fun of pakistan on this fact
( such statements & ads also increase hate amongst public of both countries against each other )
