Increasing OBC income limit to Rs 8 lakhs --- RSS-workers fool upper caste youth by saying "see , RSS is against caste based reservation and so pls vote for rss = bjp". And thus rss-workers ensure that upper caste youth vote for rss = bjp. And Modiji et al will continue to support caste based reservation to get OBC , ST , SC votes !!

For decades, Patels and many upper caste voters in Gujarat believed that Modiji is no-nonsense !! And anti-reservation people believe that a no-nonsense person will always be anti-reservation. And so Patels etc in Gujarat were made to believe that Modiji will remove caste based reservation when Modiji becomes PM !!! So they all voted for rss = bjp, and now they feel betrayed.

Raising income limit for OBC creamy layer is direct fall out of inflation. The limit was set to Rs 500,000 over 6 - 7 years back. And if one takes REAL inflation etc, then it does become Rs 800,000

My take - I support caste based reservation. I oppose economic reservation. I compare caste based reservation as a medicine, whose benefits are FAR MORE than side effects. So yes, those who see only side effects will complain. But stopping the medicine can do far more damage. The so called loss to merit is minimal. So there is much much bigger loss to merit due to reckless self-finanance in medicine education, other education and so on. And land hoarding and corruption in judges / IAS / IPS / Ministers do far far more damage than so called loss of merit, eg consider deaths of 70 kids in Gorakhpur, Everyone from doctor to CM were meritorous !!! But kids died due to corruption (and of course disease). , not some reservation.

I have proposed law-drafts by which TOTAL caste based reservation will reduce with votes of poor SC / ST / OBCs. And reservation should be streamlined so that subcastes who have been left out get higher share and subcaste which got more than their % population share get excluded.

If you want caste based reservation to become ZERO, then would request you not waste your time in reading above posts, because they ONLY reduce reservation, and not make them zero.

But pls also dont waste time and hopes on NaMo. NaMo fooled crores of upper caste into believeing that he will remove caste based reservation when he becomes PM.

If you want reservation to REDUCE, then pls publicze the above law-drafts, And pls dont waste time,. vote. hopes, efforts after SoMoKe.
