The first entity that forced people to use prefix "Honorable" was East India Company --- so word "Honorable" is quite "appropriate" for SCjs and HCjs
.
The kings of India, be Hindu or Muslims, never forced people to use word "Honorable" !! The people were required to bow down and obey, but Kings never said "you must honor us" !! Because "honor" comes from heart and not sword. It is person's right to say whether he respects the ruler or not, If he doesnt respect, he may not say "I dont respect you". But he doesnt respect, he will not be forced to say "I do respect you" !!
.
But East India Company went one step ahead, The Company's apex officers said to all Indian subjects --- you must all must say that we deserve and you must all say that you consider us honorable !!!
.
So in THIS context and THIS context ALONE, it may be appropriate to say that ALL Supreme and High judges are indeed "Honorable" !!
.
Otherwise, there is no evidence that Scjs and HCjs are less corrupt than Magistrates, And there is no evidence that corruption is Magistrate is less than IPS or leaders
.
And nepotism in SCjs and HCjs is HIGHEST -- more than any segment in Govt of India -- more than Gram Panchayats !! So SCjs and HCjs are rupulsive to many. But in the historical context of word "Honorable" in India, the SCjs and HCjs should be called as "Honorable"
