@PmoIndia #CmStates #PrintLawsInLatinOnly print laws in Latin ONLY, not English or Indian languages. So NO common in India can understand
.

.
For ewxample, consider a law namely Mauritius Treaty Amendment printed by PM in year 2016. One para says
.
-------------------
.
Article 12A
.
FEES FOR TECHNICAL SERVICES
.
1. Fees for technical services arising in a Contracting State and paid to a resident of the other Contracting State may be taxed in that other State.
.
2. However, such fees for technical services may also be taxed in the Contracting State in which they arise, and according to the laws of that State, but if the beneficial owner of the fees for technical services is a resident of the other Contracting State the tax so charged shall not exceed 10 per cent of the gross amount of the fees for technical services.

The setence construction id DELIBERATELY made so complex that some 0.1% people of India will be able to understand with confidence. So my question is --- why make it so that even 0.1% can understand? PM could have printed the law in Latin so that not even 0,00001% of commons can understand !! As per IAS / judges who need to implement the law, they can have confidential papers with English translation.
.
So IMO, Central and ALL State Govts should now onwards print all laws in Latin ONLY. And all laws printed in English and Indian languages should be gradually repealed and replaced by laws printed in Latin ONLY. That will FULLY implement vision of ALL apex leaders of ALL parties, and workers of ALL parties, that "laws must be written in a way that commons cant understand".
.
If you support the proposal that laws in Central and State Govt in India should be written in Latin ONLY, then pls send above tweet to @PmoIndia .
