Tata served British well, Tata had assisted British in controlling India as well as controlling Congress leaders such as Duratma Gandhi, Jawaherlal Ghazi, Vallabhbhai Patel etc. So when British were leaving India, in 1946, British decided to give a huge coal mine of some 8000 acres to Tata for a royalty of less than Re 1 year per ACRE !! Yes, per acre.

Imo royalties should be raised to normal levels.
