What DTSTP means is - Double Taxation on Small Traders Problem (well, double tax is on BUYER of small trader in GST laws, and so buyers will leave them).
.
This is how GST creates DTSTP :-
.
(1) if a Small vendor is in supply chain of large vendors, cost for end buyers shoots up by almost 20% (or whatever ois GST rate, be 12% or 18% or 28% )
.
(2) so all large suppliers will start expelling Small vendors and replace them by Large vendors , or ask Small vendors to switch to Input Tax Credit System
.
(3) If the switch to input tax credit system, then they will become victim of Missing Trader Problem, and thus get exterminated
.
(4) so Small vendors' businesses will end, no matter what they do, Their staff becomes unemployed
.
(5) Later, they may get job in Large companies. But overall efficiency of Indian economy decreases.
