Indian Army soldiers had tied the stone throwers to save the lives of STONE THROWERS --- NO SARCASM, no kidding. SOLUTION?

Some 10 soldiers were surrounded by some 1000 stone throwers. One "standard" option soldiers had for self defense was to open fire, and that would have killed 10s of stone throwers
.
To save the lives of 10s of stone throwers, some soldiers decided to tie a stone thrower in front of jeep.
.
That stopped stone throwers from throwing stones, and soldiers could leave.
.
Otherwise, soldiers would have had opened fired in self defense and then bullets may have many stone throwers.
.
So soldiers took much lesser of the two evils.
.
Now apex authorities will have to decide if soldiers can use this method again and again, or should soldiers resort to firing.

As a short term measure, I support ways that will MINIMIZE the deaths of stone throwers , for now. And so they what soldiers done should be made standard operating procedure for now.

The long term solution I propose is to fix laws.

ENact laws that Hindus can have SGPC like structure over temples. With that, Hindus in JK will be able to fix JK problem without Military. And next, remove art-370 so that lakhs of Indians can settle into JK.
