Many equipment making companies, when they want to test security of their device / system, they let hackers take equipment to their own labs, and let them reverse engineer it and test it.

Here, we have Election Commissioners, who say "you can ONLY see the equipment = EVM, you cant open it, you cant take it to your labs, you cant reservse engineer its circuits, and show how it can be tempered by INSIDERS" !!

The crux of EVM tempersing is ---
.
(1) an INSIDER who has access to EVMs can always mark a few EVMs as broken, then steal them in the name of disposing them, reverse engineer the circuit, Or, one can simply bribe the engineers in BEL and give ALL the specs.
.
(2) And next step would be make duplicate parts which look like real, but have remote control based reciever.
.
(3) And third step is to replace the EVM parts (such as display) when 100s of EVMs are being shipped in truck from BEL to collector's office. In truck, there are only 2-4 people.
.
(4) And then after voting ends, using remote control, votes can be changed
.
All this has been demonstrated on ACTUAL EVM in Hariprasad video.

( This is one way, Another way involves CIA replacing the chip made in USA / Japan after packet is shipped and before it arrives. Video doesnt discuss this method. And there are several ways.)

And we have CEC saying --- show us how EVMs can be hacked. Well, pls see the 8 minute video. Or pls let hackers take EVMs to their own labs. Hackers dont have x-ray vision that they can reserve engineer PCB design by merely looking at EVM inside its box.
