Lets see what EFFECTIVE steps Yogiji takes

(1) Free Hindu temples from Govt control in UP and India

(2) To stop Missionaries in UP and India
.
(3) To stop MNC-owners in UP / India, because if MNC-owners keep capturing sectors of economy / media, then eventually Missionaries will prevail
.
(4) What steps Yogiji takes to bring two child law
.
(5) Whats LEGAL changes Yogiji brings to reduce gohatya
.
(6) What laws he proposed to build Ram Janam Bhoomi Devalaya, Krishna Janam Bhoomi Devalaya, Kashi Vishvanath Devalaya
.
(7) What steps he takes to reduce corruption police, courts , education etc
.
And (1) task, namely "Free Hindu temples from Govt control in UP and India " is something that Yogi, if he wants, can do within 3-4 weeks !!! For other tasks, like stopping gohatya, he can validly say "give me a few months". But as far as ending govt control over temples goes, this is somehing that CM with 75% MLAs and PM of his own party can do within weeks. Because, here, Govt has to give, and not take.

Yogi's track record on most of above has been poor. Yogi's never proposed any private member bill to end Govt control over temples !!! Yogiji had proposed private member bill to end gohatya in India during Congress Govt, and he did NOT put that bill when BJP govt came in 2014 !!!

But all in all, Yogiji had "valid" excuses that he had no position / power. Now he has power and position to create state level semi-referendum system in UP, and bring ALL of above changes using sheer raw force of public opinion. Lets see how many changes he works to bring.
