Summing of on demonetization ---- if one doesnt see rising dominance of foreign elitemen as a problem, then demonetization has huge gains, otherwise it has losses, losses and losses all the way.

Thats why ArGandhi has refused to site gains of foreigners as a reason why opposes demonetization and ArGandhi goes around petty issues only like "rs 2000 note will increase corruption" and so on. After all, like NaMo \ SoGa , ArGandhi is also supporter of FDI and rising dominance of foreign elitemen in India.

Short term losses --- commons who are getting Rs 1000 per day to stand in queues and getting Rs 200,000 deposits with promise that they will have to repay Rs 180,000 later . Except them, all are losing - govt is losing VAT , Tolls etc. Manufacturers are losing order, labor is losing daily wages and list is long.

Long term gains ---

(1) GoI will gain some Rs 300,000 crore to Rs 600,000 crore due to currency gains or due to income tax gains

(2) Biggest gain will be FDI bringers --- they will get land for much lesser prices and will be able to setup SEZs etc rapidly

(3) The unaccounted cash was also a weapon of productive people like factory owners, businessmen, doctors etc to deal with corrupt IAS, IPS, Ministers, judges and land hoarders, and also deal with blackmailing by paidmediamen. They have suffered 20% to 30% losses at individual levels. Their ability to give bribes have decreased. So now Ministers, IAS , IPS, judges, paidmediamen etc will en-masse side with FDI-bringers. So this will be another huge loss to local manufacturers etc

(4) Unaccounted cash is less than 3% of TOTAL black wealth -- naami land hoarding such as land owned by missionaries , T trusts , all trusts, trusts owned by foreign elitemen etc and benaami lands. But if you see an average manufacturer etc then unaccounted cash is higher % of his wealth and land is lesser % of his wealth. There is going to be NO attack on huge plots owned by missionaries, waks, and trusts owned by foreign elitemen as all their land is naami (clean papers). So the coming attack on so called benaami land will also hurt Indian elitemen more than freign elitemen.

All in all, those who dont see rising dominance of foreign elitemen will certainly see lost of merits and no long term losses in so called demonetization

But those who see rising dominance of foreign elitemen will prefer disclosure of land ownership records, wealth tax, deemed auction on sale of land etc as a solution, and will trash away demonetization.
