Why did Akshay Kumar "hide" i.e. didnt openly declare vociferously that he has acquired canadian citizenship?

One cant easily hide change of citizenship and passport. So it was "publicly" known that AKaK = Akshay Kumar alias Khiladi had given up Indian citizenship and accepted Canadian citizenship several years back. Some link say that he has been canadian citizen since 2009. I cant get exact year though. So technically, he did not hide it. But it is also a fact that he never worked to ensure that all his fans know about it, eg everytime he gave some money to charity, he gave five times the amount to paidmediamen to ensure that his donations get wide publicity. But he never worked to disclose his citizenship.

WHY?

Because if this fact had become public to many say 7 years back, then many nationalists would not have become akshay-fans or akshay-andhbhagats.

But now that they are akshay-andhbhagats, they feel compelled to rationalize it as "so what if Akshay Kumar Khiladi gave up canadian citizen and so what if Khiladi bhai saheb has given up Indian citizenship? and so on".

But if these nationalists had known in 2009 that AKaK is now canadian citizen, then they would NOT have become his andhbhagats.

IOW, disclosing it before could have drastically reduced "acquisition" of new fans.

Now if Amir Khan or SRK or Salman Khan had taken US or Canadian citizenship, I am sure Hinduvaadies would have made huge uproar. But given that it is AKaK, they are all silent.

Well, as per citizenship changing - I say - business is business, And actors are businessmen first, with rare exceptions like Nana Patekar. So IMO fault is of fans --- they should NOT assume that reel life has anything to do with real life. Thats why Nana Patekar said a few days back to journalists "you people give too much importance to what we actors say".

The lesson from Akshay Kumar's canadian citizenship also applies on bhashans of tall leaders like SoMoKe. I request all andhbhagats to note that just as Khiladi's reel life and real lives are different, , the leaders' bhashans have nothing to do with law drafts he plans to print.

So dont confuse reel life and bhashans with reality.
