Why AKaK = Akshay Kumar alias Khiladi became canadian citizen? I dont know for sure. But watching AKaK movie may be drain on forex of India !!!

One possible reason - tax benefits. As per law-drafts printed by SoMoKe , a US or canadian citizen can legally ask RBI to convert his rupee income into dollars, legally take to dollars to mauritius or Fiji, and legally invest in India and then on that income , he is legally exempt from paying taxes to GoI !!!

AKaK has image of being a high profile nationalist. His nationalism is similar to BJP's national --- avoid taxes first , nation later !! It is opposite to Right to Recall Party nationalism where anyone and everyone is asked to first pay due share of his taxes and then practice nationalism.

AKaK was born an Indian citizen in Amritsar, as wiki says. He accepted Canadian citizen. He may reapply for Indian citizen because his sponsor Missionaries etc want him to become Minister in BJP's 2019 cabinet. But as of now, he is Canadian citizen.

But one reason can be saving taxes
.
Say a person is canadian citizen. Say he earns Rs 10 crore in a movie. Say he pays 35% as income tax,. Then he can legally ask RBI to give dollars for Rs 6,5 crore. So that would be about $1 million. Then he can legally take money to Mauritius. And he can legally invest in India via Mauritius. And he can legally not pay any tax on the income on that $ 1 million investment !!!!

But of that person is Indian citizen, then he cannot ask RBI to give dollars nor can he legally take money to Mauritius. And if he takes money there by legal means, and invests in India, then legally speaking he has to pay taxes in India !!!

So many businessmen / actors have become NRI and some have become foreign citizen.

Also, if AK is investing money in his movies from his canada based company, then GoI may have to pay dollars to profits that that company earns in rupees. So watching AKaK movies may (may) be drain on forex reserves of India.

SOLUTION?

Solution is to print US like law-drafts where foreign national or Indian citizen will have to pay same taxes for income earned in India.

SoMoKe have till date opposed such laws and instead they support nefarious treaties like Mauritius, Singapore, Fiji etc and speak while lies that these treaties are needed to bring forex. The reality is that -- apex USUK-elitemen are threatening Indian leaders with Kargil , Kasabs and Uri if Indian leaders dont print such nefarious tax laws !!! And SoMoKe dont have strength to tell the truth about these threats or work on ways to zero such threats,
