NaMo didnt say that "80% kasai are criminals" !! But he did say 80% go-rakshaks are criminals. Well, his statement that 80% go-rakshaks are "criminals" is also a lie.

But lets see people who get into swordfight or even gunfight against kasai. Kasai have men, swords, and are well connected with policemen / judges. And they make lakhs and crores of rupees by slaughtering cows. So to deal with them, one needs men, swords and also money.

So many gorakshaks do have businesses to support goraksha and some also have businesses like selling liquor and so on.

But crook gorakshaks are those who take commissions from kasai, and such crooks are less than 10%
.
IOW, many gorakshaks may be having business like liquor selling, but then only people in such area cal deal with kasai, policemen and judges. But IMO, in the area of stopping kasai, such people should NOT be seen as "crooks". They are not backstabbing the cause of goraksha.

The ONLY crooks are those gorakshaks, who take commissions from kasai.

So NaMo's statement is highly misleading. NaMo is projecting all gorakshaks as commission collector from kasai.

What is NaMo's motive behind this statement?

Essentially, NaMo has failed to end cow slaughter. And so he wants to ensure that everyone who is trying gets a bad name. And also, he wants to cut size of Yogi Adityanath and get all his gorakshak volunteers arrested. This statement will make Yogi Adityanath look bad and his volunteers will now all look like crookish businessmen.

Essentially, this statement is one more victory or Missionaries against Hinduvaadies
