Should tribals or farmers, AFTER giving due compensation, be forcefully evacuated from their plots for mineral mining? And what should be compensation?
.
Say 1000 farmer families are living on a plot , each having say 2-5 acre per family. and say they have low / mediocre incomes of say below Rs 50000 per family member. Or say, some 10000 tribals are living in an area, where they do rudimetntary farming, hunting etc.
.
Say tons of minerals are discovered in that land. Full value is unknown , but it is known that value is huge.
.
Now what should be compensation in your view?
.
And what if , even after that compensation offer, say over 75% refuse to leave?
.
Please give your opinion.

My opinions
.
(1) The recallable CM or PM will decide first compensationj offrer. If reciever wants more, then Jury of 100 voters chosen at random , per care, with max Jury size of 1500 voters should decide compensation. If I am in Jury, my compensation will be linked with INCOMES they can earn from that land, and NOT linked with value of minerals below the ground. eg if family of 5 farmers were earning say Rs 200,000 a year, and five landless can earn rs 120,000 a year, then income form land is Rs 80000 a year. so compensation has to be 20 times the income, and no more.
.
(2) After compensation, if farmers / tribals refuse to evacuate, then TcpState \ TcpIndia should decide final outcome. here, my vote will be YES i.e. go ahead with forceful evacuation
