Benefits that upper caste hindus got out of CBR = caste based reservation for SC / ST / OBC --- without CBR, many many SC / ST / OBC would have joined Missionaries, naxals etc, and using SC / ST / OBCs, missionaries and naxals would have run an Africa level mayhem in India.

The discrimination against them in interviews was and still is so high, that without explicit caste based reservation even brightest of SC / ST / OBC would have simply failed in interview (eg judiciary interviews). And a large fraction of SC / ST / OBC would have turned towards missionaries, naxals and assorted nonsenses. eg in 1930s , the discrimination against SC was so high inside congress and in administration, than many SC started aaligning with Muslim :League !! (please google on Jogendranath Mandal). later,, when Pakistanis and Bangladeshis slaughtered and abducted all Hindus including SCs en-masse , SCs broke away with Muslim League. But post 1947, due to discrimination against them in interviews etc, they would have aligned with missionaries and naxals.

And missionaries, naxals would have played an all out havoc using them. And with mayhem missionaries and naxals would have created , India would have become a worse place than Pakistan. The wealth that upper caste individuals would have been 1/10th of what they have today.

IOW, whether they like or not, caste based reservation has stopped a valcano from erupting. And that has benefitted ALL --- all Indians.

So when you oppose caste based reservation, first try to picture India if there was no caste based reservation from 1930 to today, and interview system and skewed education opportunity at birth would have continued as it is., then a large fraction would have joined naxals and missionaries. Now you extrapolate future events in that India, and your future in that India as well.

Babasaheb Ambedkar was approached by Saudi Islamists, Missionaries and Naxals to join them. But he stayed away from all of them. And he could keep Dalits away from Saudi Islamists, Missionaries and Naxals. And what helped Ambedkar in keeping Dalits away from Saudi Islamists, Missionaries and Naxals was caste based reservation. Has there been no caste based reservation, intelligent Dalits would have failed in interviews and never got any job anywhere.And they would have all joined Saudi Islamists, Missionaries or Naxals enmasse, Now extrapolate the future of India in that direction.

My point is --- today's upper caste individuals have deruved huge peace dividends from caste based reservation from dalits, tribals and OBCs.

Now all that is past. What about today?

Today, we have Congress / AAP supported reservation but have no intention to reduce discrimination SC / ST / OBC face due to skewed education opportunity in childhood and interview system. . BJP / RSS want to abolish reservation, but they too have NO intension of improving education for Dalits / Sc / OBC and removing interview system.

We are Right to Recall Party have proposed to COMPLETELY abolish interview system at all entry level positions in govt jobs and all govt colleges (except medicine). Yes, even govt colleges like IIMs use interview system and corruption, nepotism and discrimination is OPENLY practiced in such interviews !!! Only we at Right to Recall Party have demanded ending such interviews. SoMoke have opposed complete removal of interviews.

Again, SoMoKe and CoBhApSwara-workers have all opposed RTR-DEO and other RRP proposals to improve education.

We have proposed law-drafts to reduce reservation using SUPPORT of POOR dalits / ST / OBCs. The proposals are

(1) I have proposed a law-draft that will reduce reservation from 49% to 5% of may be less , at cost of Rs 1000 per YEAR per Dalit / ST / OBC i.e. about Rs 84000 crores per year, which will increase existing taxes by about 5% . (3) Another proposed law-draft is --- if % of job holders belonging to a sub-caste in a Govt, including its PSUs , is more than their % population of that sub-caste , then reservation for that sub-caste will be suspended for a few years. Now choice is yours. If toy want status quo, please support Congress / AAP. And if you want Dalit/ ST / OBCs to join naxals and missionaries, then follow the RSS / BJP proposals of killing reservation without creating any alternate remedies !!! And if you want to improve education for all poors, including dalits / tribals/ obcs and ALSO reduce reservation with support of their poors, then please work with Right to recall Party. Finally, your choice will decide the outcomes.
