In USA, law applies ONLY on net addition of wealth after marriage, and NOT counting inheritance. In USA, the law also allows pre marital contract, in which case an upper limit may apply as stipulated by the contract. NaMo has opposed to make provision for pre-marital contracts. NaMo has NOT asked Fadnavis to make stand clear on inheritance of property

Also, in USA< the law does NOT apply on live in relation. In India, supreme court has print judgment that give live partners same right as wife. And Fadnavis has NOT made it clear if this "half the asset" law will apply on live in partner as well !!!

All RSS-workers I know are OPENLY supporting this proposal of Fadnavis, which comes by orders of NaMo.

My proposal ----
.
1) The husband should be required to maintain annual wealth record. And ONLY 50% of wealth added after marriage should be given to wife --- no more and no less. And wealth obtained by capital gains on wealth obtained BEFORE marriage will not apply. And wealth obtained by inheritance will also NOT apply.

2) If pre-marital contract puts a reseanable upper limit, then upper limit will apply

3) No compensation in case of live-in relation.
.
4) The final decision will be taken by Jurors and not judges
.
Congress / BJP / AAP / RSS / BST workers have opposed these proposals. They all insist on law proposed by Fadnavis.They have all opposed pre-marital contract to limit wealth division on divorce.

So if you support proposal of Fadnavis, the please join Congress or BJP or AAP or RSS or BST --- they are all one and the same on THIS issue
