303.073 : Sant Rampal case ---- how corrupt , nepotic judges and Missionary-paid-media are worsening inter-sect fights in Hindus

How (a) paidmedia \ Missionaries used mess created by three parties ------ (b) corrupt defunct judges (c) Sant Rampal + some of his followers (d) some followers of Dayanand Saraswati ---- to worsen inter-sect strife in Hindus.

And moral of the whole story ---- if we dont fix courts, by replacing judges by Jurors, then Hinduism will weaken due to inter-sect clashes.

Some 30 days back, I didnt know who Sant Rampal was !!! All information I gathered is from net in past few days.
.
Lets look at all parties and chain of events.
.
Sant Rampal criticized as well as used abusive language for Dayanad Saraswati. Some of his criticism may be sensible, while and some his statements are pure abuses in foul and inappropriate language.
.
The key thing is --- paidmedia started giving a HUGE coverage to Sant Rampal since year 2000. This obviously aggravated followers of Dayanad Saraswati.
.
Now some followers of Dayand Swaraswati would say "let the mad men shout , lets walk on with life". But some followers of Dayanand Sarawati decided to take some action.

So there are following 8 people and groups of people.
.
1. SaRa = Sant Rampal
.
2. Followers of SR, who supported his criticism of Swami Dayannnd Saraswati but not his abusive language = SaRaF . This is important group of followers. They will not like abusive language , but if someone physically surrounds SaRa , then they will run to save him.

3. Followers of SaRa, who supported his criticism of Swami Dayand Saraswati = SaRaF-anti-SDR.

4. Followers of Swami Dayannnd Saraswati , who ignore such abuses --- SDSF-Ingore-SaRa
.
5. Followers of Swami Dayannnd Saraswati , who would propose legal action against Sara under section-295A IPC --- SDSF-anti-SaRa-295
.
6. Followers of Swami Dayannnd Saraswati , who would propose aggressive protests against SaRa outside his ashram
.
7. Corrupt nepotic judges.

Now lets see at the long chain of events.
.
1. SaRa = Sant Rampal starts criticizing SDS = Swami Dayand Saraswati.
.
2. SaRa starts using abusive language for SDS along with some valid criticism.
.
3. Some SaRaF = SaRa followers would not like use of abusive language. Some followers cheer up because of their dislike for some specific persons who are SRS-followers.
.
4. Some SRSF would say "ignore SaRa". Some would insist on filing case against him under section-295A . Some insist on aggressive gherao. Here I would quote section-295A of IPC . It says "Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs.—Whoever, with deliberate and malicious intention of outraging the religious feelings of any class of citizens of India, by words, either spoken or written, or by signs or by visible representations or otherwise, insults or attempts to insult the religion or the religious beliefs of that class, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both. "

5. MNC-Missionary-paid paidmediamen give huge coverage to SaRa .

5A. If the paidmediamen were 100% paid by Indians, then the paidmediamen would not have given such huge coverage to SaRa unless SaRa drops abuses and confined to criticism. Why? A paidmediamen funded by Indians would have fear of shunning and boycott by a huge section of population. But most of the existing paidmediamen in India are paid by foreigners and so paidmediamen are not worried about boycott. IOW, FDI in paidmedia adds fuel to such clashes. .

5B. Now guess who allowed FDI in paidmedia and guess which parties' MPs are supporting FDI in paidmedia as of today?

5C. And please note that SoMoKe, SoMoKe-andhbhagats are worsening the situation by supporting FDI in paidmedia. Some SoMoKe-andbhagats may be against FDI in paidmedia. But by supporting SoMoKe , their actions are supporting FDI in paidmedia and this worsending the situation.

6. The corrupt nepotic judges took no action for verbal abuses SaRa was throwing.

6A. If the courts were run by Jurors, then Jurors would have PROMPTLY imposed punishment on SaRa for using abusive language. I cant speak for all Jurors. If I were in Jury , the punishment I would propose would be (Re 1 fine, 1 day in prison) for FIRST offence, and the double the fine and double the number of days every next time. One can see that by 32 repetitions, even Bill Gates would drop abusive language. I cant say what other Jurirs would do. But across countries in the world, the Jurors have imposed mild punishments on verbal abusers to a point that verbal abuses end. Thats because Jurors want amicable peace , and also dont want end to free speech. So Jurors permit valid criticism and punish foul speech. What is valid and what is foul? That is discretion of each Juror.

6B. But we have courts run not by Jurors by corrupt nepotic judges. So no punishments happen under section-295A.

7. So some SDSF = Swami Dayanand Saraswati followers resorted to angry protest outside SaRa's ashram. IMO, they had wrongly gheraoed the Satlok ashram. So please note --- that IMO the protest was legitimate , but IMO, gheraoing the ashram was blatantly unethical.

7A. Again, if the courts were run by Jurors , then SaRaF = Sant Rampal's followers' would have resort to court complain and not direct fight. If I were in jury, again, my punishments for such gherao would be (Rs 1 fine , 1 day in prison) and double it every time. And such gherao would end.

7B. But again, there were no Jurors and we only have corrupt nepotic judges. And so rounds of fights between Sant Rampal followers = SaRaF and SDSF = Swamy Dayanand Saraswati followers grew.

8. Now each round of physical fight , unpunished by courts, will get more and more from both sides. eg say there are SDSF who want to ignore SaRa. They will initially stay away from protest. And say there are SaRaF who oppose abusive language for SDS. They will also initially stay away. But if physical fight breaks out between SDSF-protesters and SaRaF-anti-SDS , and courts punish none, then all SaRaF followers will run to support other SaRaF and all non-protesting SDS-followers would run to support other protesting SDS-followers.

9. So next round of conflicts were much bigger !!
.
10. In july-2006, many SDS-followers gheraoed SaRa-ashram. They encirled the ashram and no one was allowed to go in, and supplies of food , electricity, water , diesel (to run the generators they had) etc were blocked !! This was an aggressive gherao. For details, google ob "satpal ashram july 2006". This action IMO was wrong

11. So SaRa-followers retaliated. Some 1-3 persons died (some reports say 1 person died, some say 3 persons died).

12. The judge summoned SaRa in year 2008 in the case of the person who had died. SaRa did appear before the judge. Please note --- SaRa did appear before the judge in year 2008.

13. The judge kept SaRa in prison for several months. Please note again. The judge did keep Sant Rampal in prison for some 21 months. And the judge didnt dispose the case.

13A. Again. if there was Jury System, the case judgement would have come in weeks. But SaRa remained in prison for several months. And judge didnt resolve the case.

14. Then judge gave bail to SaRa. SaRa's supporters rightly lost faith in judges due to the fact that judges didnt end the case in 6 long months. Also, judges across India are highly corrupt and nepotic. So SaRa and his supporters got a valid excuse in saying that "we wont appear in the court". Further, there was no direct involvement of SaRa in the case filed against him. SaRa's followers had attacked those who had encircled the ashram and were blocking people and supplies from going in and out. And police was helping those who had encirled the ashram. So SaRa-followerers had excuse of self defence.

15. Sant Rampal's supporters agreed to defy court summons. They surrounded the Ashram. So finally, 25000 policemen were needed to remove them and arrest Sant Rampal.

16. paidmedia says that Sant Rampal's disciplies were shotting at policemen and throwing petrol bomns on policemen. If 25000 policemen have surrounded a 12 acre plot, and if people inside are shooting using guns, and throwing petrol bombs, then there must have been many police casulties. Please check how many policemen died or got seriously injured !!!

The allegations on violence on Sant Rampal even if true are indirect "retalitory" i.e. his supported had acted and not himself, and his supporters acted after they were encircled by protestors. Sant Rampal's supporters didnt initiate the violence. Sant Rampal did initiate the verbal abuse , for which followers of Dayand Saraswati could have filed a case under section-295A IPC. The followers of Swamy Dayanand Saraswati were wrong in their action of encircling the Satpal Ashram. So allegations against Sant Rampal will NOT lower image of Sant Rampal in his followers. And the judges who are being used to crush followers of Sant Rampal and his ashram have no legitimacy in society due to rampant corruption and rampant nepotism. "The judges should be respected at all cost" type arguments are baseless when judges are extremely corrupt.

For whatever reasons, followers of Sant Rampal took him as Guru because they didnt find any less bad or better Guru. So it is possible to crush Sant Rampal using force via corrupt and nepotic judges. But then , chances are high that followers of Sant Rampal will turn to Missionaries for spiritual counciling !! This will only strengthen Missionaries and further weaken Hinduism

Also, the strife amongst various Hindu sects will grow. The FDI-paid paidmediamen will keep on projecting leader of sect-A who abuses figueres of sect-B and so on.

SOLUTION I PROPOSE
.
Solution I propose is that should use Jury Trials to deal with all such disputes. A jury of 1500 voters across India from voters list of India , minus Haryana , should be chosen at random. The age should be between 35 years and 45 years. And they should decide the punishment or acquital in such inter-sect clashes. That will ensure that complaints are promptly and justly addressed.

The trials on Sant Rampal , Asaram Bapu etc and ALL trials in India should be done by Jury and NOT by judges. I never had faith in judges, since I was kid. Sant Rampal is only Saint who has dared to speak against corruption in judges !!!

Whatever one may say, I must thank Sant Rampal for one thing ----- he is the ONLY saint , or non-saint if you think he isnt saint, in India who has raised voice against corruption in judges !! He has published two booklets against corruption in judges. The solutions he has proposed IMO are useless. But at least, he showed courage to say that most judges are corrupt and that problem should be addressed. Otherwise, all saints I see keep silence on the issue of corruption and nepotism of judges !! Or, please name me ONE saint who has distributed 10000s of booklets accusing judges of corruption with names !! These booklets are worth a glance. PLEASE DOWNLOAD SANT RAMPAL'S BOOKLETS ON CORRUPTION IN JUDGES. Even if you oppose Sant Rampal, these booklets are worth reading.

Please glance at these books. No one India has shown courage to write on corruption of judges WITH names !! I have written a lot against corruption of judges, but I could never muster courage to write against judges WITH NAMES. .Not one CoBhAp leader , no saint etc has shown courage to write on corruption of judges with NAMES. So on THIS issue, we must than Sant Rampal .

Sant Rampal's followers have made following arguments which IMO seem valid ----

1. The followers of Sant rampal are involved only in self defence and they have never carried out any offence. The violence occurred when the private citizens who oppose Sant Rampal, in year 2006, had ENCIRCLED the Satpal ashram for several days, blocked people and food \ water etc from moving in and out, had broken electricity connection and so forth !! And when they did so, policemen had helped the private citizens who had gheraoed the ashram. So the followers of Sant Rampal had only retaliated against aggrssive gherao.

2. There was no direct involvement by Sant Rampal. His followers say that they had acted in self defence without any of his instruction. Despite this Sant Rampal was charged by the court.

3. Sant Rampal's followers have VERY VALID EXCUSE that judges in Haryana courts are corrupt.

4. Sant Rampal did appear in court in 2008. The judge didnt give bail for over 6 months. For over 6 months, Sant Rampal was in prison and was brought in the court whenever judge wanted. Yet the judge didnt dispose the case !!! (added later --- some say that judges had imprisoned him for 21 months as under trial prisoner !!!)

5. Later, it was Sant Rampal's followers who stopped Sant rampal for appearing in court !!! This is interesting !! IOW, one claim is that it was followers of Sant Rampal who had stopped policemen from entering into ashram and it was followers of Sant Rampal who had stopped Sant Rampal from leaving the ashram !!! The followers stopped policemen and Sant Rampal because policemen and judges are all corrupt, nepotic etc.

Nevertheless a REAL QUESTION comes --- why did Sant Rampal decide to use abusive language for Swamy Dayanand Saraswati? What does he gain? I am trying to get answer to this question. One answer is ---- such abuses would get wider coverage from MNC-Missionary-paid paidmediamen. The MNC-owners and Missionaries are always interested in adding fuel to fire in inter-sect fights in Hindus and Muslims. eg MNC-owners give huge weapons and money to shia as well as sunni across world to kill one another !!! So if anyone abuses Hindu saints, his paidmedia coverage in India increases. And if a Hindu Saint is abusing another Hindu Saints, then it is best god send opportunity for Missionaries. So it is more than likely that Sant Rampal saw that if he abuses Swamy Dayanand Saraswati, then Missionary-paid paidmediamen would increase his coverage in paidmedia and that will get him more followers. In fact, Missionaries would also provide him medicines for free so that he gets more and more followers.

But the above explanation that "Sant Rampal abused Swamy Dayanand Saraswati to get more coverage from Missionary-paid paidmedia" has something missing. When a sect leader abuses a saint of another sect, then many of his own followers turn away !! The followers dont mind criticism of thoughts, but personal abuses of a saint of a rival sect gives a bad taste in mouth across Hindus of all sects. And no publicity is worth for a sect leader if it decreases the number of followers or gives bad taste in the mouth of the followers. Thats why, NO Kabirpanthi sahib ever abused any saint of another sect personally, and has confined to criticism of thoughts only. So "why Sant Rampal decided to abuse Swamy Dayanand Saraswati" is a question that needs more scrutiny.

The question is important because inter-sect clashes in Hindus are all set to rise. The clash between Kabirpathis and followers of Swamy Dayanand Saraswati is IMO the tip of the iceberg. Many more clashes may come soon. The Kabirpanth is growing by lakhs and tens of lakhs. And that isnt a problem IMO. The problem is that sect leader decides to abuse saints of another sect , bigger problem is that --- despite abuses his following doesnt decrease !!!

One can take convenient stands like "corrupt judges must be respected at any cost" etc etc . Well, judges didnt punish even one corrupt Minister in past 60 years. And this case is far far more complex than corruption case. So hoping that the existing corrupt judges will reduce the mess is nativity beyond infinity. Only activists can solve this problem, and that too ONLY if activist decide to spend TIME on this problem and solutions.

One thing is clear --- the MNC-Missionary-paid paidmedia has been adding fuel to fire for past 10 years. And SoMoKe-andbhagats may against FDI in paidmedia, but they support leaders namely SoMoKe who support FDI in paidmedia. IOW, eben if intentions of SoMoKe-andhbhagats and ChoBhApSwaRa-workers may be good, the action of SoMoKe-andhbhagats and ChoBhApSwaRa-workers is adding fuel to the fire.

So the activists who want to reduce this inter-sect mess in Hindus should stop wasting time with SoMoKe-andhbhagats and ChoBhApSwaRa-workers
