Who benefits from anti-coca-cola and anti-pepsi-cola campaigns most? Coke and Pepsi ? Why?
.
The no. 1 choice these days , when cola isnt avilable , is orange juice. Whether it is minute maid or tropica, it is coke or pepso which benefit. If coca cola isnt served , then will sale of minute maid orange juice and other juices will increase. And profit margin as well as total profits are higher. The margin on Rs 10 thumbs up is much lower compared to Rs 30 minute maid orange. So total profits of coke company increases as cola gets banned or discouraged.
.
In USA too, many univs have banned sale of cola in campus. Much of the anti-cola campaign in USa was paid by none other than pepsi and coke, as their profits rise due to decrease in use of cola !!

I dont think very many many Indian companies in India make fruit juices. Maaza Mango is now owned by Coca Cola, Frooti is Parle owned, but it is less preferred compared to orange juice. I dont know why. Maybe because it is sweeter and people want less sugary drink as they are calory conscious, Fizz is apple, and again apple is less preferred compared to orange. Is there any Indian company making orange juice? I think - no. So as far as India goes, ban or discouraging cola only increases profits of coke/pepsi and drain of forex !!

Solution to fix law-drafts in India, so that Indian companies become capable of competing against coke/pepsi. Bashing cola is shooting on feet/
