The first success of "order your MP via SMS campaign" --- Ministers forced decrease juvenile age from 18 years to 16 years for some crime. However, due to lack of political will, NaMo doesnt apply this law from 1-jan-2010. So the juvenile criminal of 16-dec-2012 bus case will walk free in 1.5 years !!

We at Right to Recall Group had started "order your MP via SMS to decreae juvenile age form 18 years to 16 years". We started that campaign in jan-2013. All SoMoKe-andhbhagats and CoBhApSwaRa-workers had opposed --- that no one should send any order to MP via SMS . We gave newspaper advt and asked voters to send this orders via SMS. And we distributed several pamphlets, and also ran campaign on facebook. So a few thousand voters had sent orders to MPs via SMS.

All AK and Sonia had demanded that age should remain 18 years i.e. if a criminal below 18 years does whatever crimes and whatever number of crimes,he should NOT be imprisoned for over 3 years !! BJP Ministers were of same view -- that why BJP Ministers had passed this law in year 2001. But due to order by SMS campaign, and they felt threatened. If this campaign wasnt hijacked, then this campaign would keep growing and can create new leaders which can create a huge loss in future. So BJP Ministers applied common sense, and foresight, and are now passing the law-draft that would increase the age to 18 years.

Now many AAPians , NaMo-bhagats and even Sonia-bhagats will start yelling that theis law did NOT come to "order your MP via SMS" campaign, but came because NaMo had change of heart and because Maneka Gandhi and Varun Gandhi asked for this law-draft. well, Maneka Gandhi has approved 18 years of age limit in year 2001, when she was Minister in ABV Govt !! And Varun Gandhi has been MP since 2009. How come he never demanded this law in all these years !! And NaMo was a senior leader in BJP when this law was passed by ABV / Jetley in year 2001, and later NaMo was CM fro 12 years , and must have come across fact that over 2/3rd cases of serious sexual crimes against women are caused by juveniles !! How come he never demanded change in this law for 12 long years? And even after 16-dec-2012 delhi bus case, NO BJP leader proposed private member bill in Parliament to decrease the age.

So there are sufficient reasons to believe that this law is coming against the wishes of all Ministers, including Maneka Gandhi, who had supported this 18 year age limit in year 2001, and also never demanded any amendment till date. Then what forced these leaders to pass this law? This is your speculation against mine.

Moral of the story is --- in order to ensure that "order your MP via SMS " campaign doesnt get publicity, leaders will honor "order your MO via SMS" campaign !!! .

I will repeat --- CoBhAp-leaders will do anything to ensure that "order your MP via SMS " doesnt gain any publicity !! And so if a campaign grows even to the limit of 100,000 SMS from country of 82 crore voters, then also leaders will honor it. !! Because if leaders do NOT honor it, then the campaign will grow to a point that leaders are forced to honor it. And then it will become public knowledge to all that "order your MP via SMS campaign" works !! So to keep "order your MP via SMS" campaign week, the leaders will keep honoring it !!
