Dear recallists,

There are 1000 chaeap subsidized houses made by Gujarat Housing Board to be to be allocated to 1000 of the 100,000 applicants. It is to be allocated by random lottery.
.
So please propose an unriggable method and a mthod that majority citizen can be convinced that it cant be rigged.
.
Gujarat Housing Board asked a company to use computer to select random numbers !!! As if programer cant manipulate the code !! So the allocation had to be cancelled and now allotees have filed a case in against housing board/
.
That aside, whole business of subsized housing is sham. The solution is DDMRCAM, wealth tax and inheritance tax and NOT subsidized houses. .
.
But in any case, sometimes, lottery based allocations may be needed. So please give selection procedure where stakes are high.
