GoI votes against Israel, despite option of ABSTAIN ---- we cant blame NaMo for now. But its time we decide to ABSTAIN on such votes 6 months from now.

Foreign policy needs continuity. Inside India, we can bring any draft anyday, but wrt foreign policy , we must have very gradual shifts. Also, foreign policy is based on interests of ALL Indian citizens.

The reason why opposed Israel is because we depend on crude oil. And bribe money from Saudi Arabia is also a reason, but crude oil is bigger reason.

NaMo continued the Congress policy , but NaMo cant be faulted for this for now. Because any change would need 6 months at least. To start with, we will need law-drafts to reduce crude oil consumption. (search for word petrol and crude oil in rahulmehta . com / 301.htm . ) After we have reduced crude oil consumption, we can tell the world that from now on, we will abstain on such issues. And then 2-3 months later, we can start abstaining.

If we print law-drafts to reduce petrol consumption today, then within 6 months, out crude import will become near zero. So six months from now, we can start ABSTANING in such international fights.

However, if we continue to depend on crude oil imports, then we will never have independent foreign policy, till we have a Military - FDI at least 25% as strong as USA. But that will be at least 5 years after we print law-drafts needed to fix Military without FDI. The strength of Military with foreign weapons or FDI weapons is pointless..

I see many "nationalists" who support NaMo\BJP, and then talk about supporting Israel. Well, first, I am against supporting Isarel, IMO, we should abstain. Second, you guys oppose law-drafts needed to fix India and support brain dead ideas like FDI in weapons. So basically, whether we support or oppose issues in UNO, it will be decided by foreigners and not us.

And dear AAPians or Congressi, before you make any point -- please note that AAPians have opposed Israel because of Saud-money that media-partners of AAP\Congress get to cover AAP\Congress. Any pro-India guy would ONLY support ABSTAIN and not either way. NaMo has reason of past policy to oppose Israel for now. But you have showed true anti-India nature of AAP by opposing Israel.
