AK = AAP now support subsidies like Re 1 tea , Rs 30 thali, Rs 5 soup etc in MP canteen !!! Reason ---- AAP = AK realized that he has no moral strength to cancel subsidies in Delhi Assembly canteen !! Solution : dump AK and order your MP via SMS to end the food subsidies in ALL Govt canteens except Military.

Food in White House and US Senate Canteen is NOT subsidized at all. US presidents, their family members and Senators pay same price for food that a normal restaurant would charge. Even when US president has political guests in his office in White House, the political guests get free food or coffee, but coffee or food consumed by President and his family members, and personal relatives etc gets billed to President at normal restaurant rates.

In USA, no govt offices, except Military, is allowed to give subsidised food to its employee. All they get is free coffee, and some biscuits. The food in US Govt units' canteen, is less expensive than normal restaurant, as they dont take profits and charge for rent. But there are no subsidies.

I dont know the exact prices in MP canteen. The newspaper reports say that they are too low --- Rs 1 for tea, Rs 2 for coffee, Rs 5 for soup, Rs 30 for thali etc etc. All PSUs and Govt offices have canteen where food is cheap. The MP canteen is frequented by many freeloaders such as party workers, journalists etc. Why do our MPs , Ministers, PSU Chairman etc give free food to all office workers? The main reason is --- the Ministers, MPs, PSU Chairman, PSU directors etc have too many corrupt deals and staff knows about it. So staff is given a share in the loot to create a "team spirit" as well as break their morals. Free food in Govt offices makes the staff support corrupt practices of apex-management.

Now AK and his MP from Punjab made a huge rukus about subsidies in MP-canteen. AAP MP from Punjab threatened dharana on this issue and AK also supported it. But soon they realized that food in Delhi Assembly canteen and food in Delhi Govt offices also gets same subsidies !! And they have NO moral standing to decrease these subsidies. And so now AP =AAP have shamelessly started supporting subsidies in MP canteen and Govt offices !! So much for their zeal against corrupt practices !!

Thats why, when MP canteen issue came, I had told that all ONLY to send SMS to MP to raise food prices 5 times, and NOT rally behind AK. But AK convinced them NOT send orders to MP via SMS, and instead follow AAP = AK on this issue. Well, see for yourself --- another K-turn.

Solution I propose is to order MPs via SMS to print law-draft to desubsidize all food in MP-canteen, ALL Govt canteen (except Military) including PSU canteen. And inform all that AK = AAP now supports subsidies in MP-canteen.

(Aside : In most US private companies too, canteen food is NOT subsidized. Even Google, Facebook and some private companies started giving free food , the US Income Tax Dept made sure that all food costs, including salary of chefs is NOT put as deductible expense !!! And tax exemption to one is only excessive tax on another.)

Also, NaMo-bhagats and BhaSwaRa-workers too made huge noise some two years back when news on food subsidies in MP canteen came. Now that burden to cancel the subsidies fell on NaMo, and NaMo is incapable to cancel this subsidies due to poor moral standing of BJP MPs and BJP Ministers, NaMo-vaadies and BhaSwaRa-workers have become supports of subsidies in MP-canteen !!! Before may-2014, NaMo-vaadies and BhaSwaRa-workers used to blame Congress for subsidies in MP canteen and claim that NaMo is brave, no-nonsense, lion-like, anti-subsidy blah blah and NaMo will end subsidies in MP-canteen in 7 days !! Now when NaMo-vaadies and BhaSwaRa-workers realized that NaMo's Ministers simply lack moral standing to cut that subsidy, they have taken M-turn and become all supporters of subsidies in MP-canteen !!! Solution I propose is --- dump all NaMo-vaadies and BhaSwaRa-workers for good. They are nothing but slogan shouters and cant even reduce subsidies in MP-canteen. What good can they do otherwise?
