Airline companies are bribing Railway Ministers NOT to have non-stop from Ahmedabad-Mumbai and many metro-metro non-stops !! Solution?

There are ONLY 7 non-stop trains per week (Duranto everyday) from Ahmedabad-Mumbai, while there is demand for 50-100 such trains per week. At a price of Rs 1200 per 2nd ac chair, all 50-100 trains will be full. And with better signalling and NO new track and no new technology, the trains can reach in 4.75 hours (existing Duranto takes 6 nours). Then why is that Railway Ministers didnt put 50-100 non-stops between Ahmedabad-Mumbai, which can finish the journmey in 4.5 hours?

Well, who would lose? The only loser will be flight companies !! So connect the dots on who is paying money to whom to stop such non-stops from coming !!!

Now please study Shatabdi timetable. Long back, Shatabdi had only 4 stops -- Ahmedabad-Baroda-Surat-Mumbai. Later, speed increased and so jouney could have been take shorter time. But then 4 more stops were added to increase delay. Even if train stops for 5 minutes, the overall delay is over 20-25 minutes as train has to wait for platform to become available, come from main track to platform track, then slowdown, then wait and then pickup, again. So every stop, even if just 1 minute, will cause a delay of 20 minutes in overall journey. IOW, stops were added only to skow down shatabdi !!

Folks, railways is a huge scam. Many non-stops are possible between metros that will kill flight traffic to below half, an even zero at some points. eg 4.5 hour Ahmedabad-Mumbai non-stop will completely kill Ahmedabad-Mumbai flights !! The flight companies are bribing railway ministers and not letting such non-stops come.

And finally, due to poor and slow trains, now middle class is agreeing to FDI in trains, and paidmedia says "see ONLY way you can have fast trains is via FDI !!"

Solution I propose is Right to Recall over Railway Minister and JurySys over Railways, The procedure can be similar to RTR-PM given in section-6.6 of rahulmehta . com / 301.htm . This will force Railway Ministers to improve Railways along ALL dimensions, but just schedules etc. And please note that SoMoKe and CoBhApSwaRa have opposed RTR-Railway-Minister.
