GoI will have to pay dollars for the profits bullet trains earns !!! While "better Duranto" will take only 33% extra time and create almost nil forex burden !!

1. Existing Duranto between Mumbai and Ahmedabad takes 6 hours. It uses imported engine but coaches , tracks are locally made and locally maintained. This engine can be 100% made in India. But as of now, it is imported. Shatabdi and Rajdhani also use imported engines. So there is some forex burden in Duranto , Shatabdi and Rajdhani. But it is minimal and near zero compared to proposed high speed trains.

2. Durano can cover jouney in 4 hours, but not in 3 hours. Why does it then take 6 hours? Because tracks arent available all the time, There is a shortage of tracks.

3. So by laying 3-4 extra tracks between Ahmedabad-Mumbai, the same Duranto can run from Mumbai-Ahmedabad in 4 hours. And Shatabdi can run in 5 hours. Shatabdi takes more time due to more stoppages. Otherwise, speedwise, it is same as Duranto..

4. Charges for 4 hour Duranto can be kept at Rs 1500 for Ahmedabad-Mumbai for 2nd Ac Chair Car and Rs 3000 for 1st class chair cars, Shatabdi can be 15% lesser.

5. So with 3-4 extra tracks, a dozen Duranto and dozen Shatabdi PER DAY between Ahmedabad-Mumbai can be run. .

6. Japanese High Speed Trains will also need new extra tracks. And it covers distance in 3 hours, But whole train including coaches are imported !! And even tracks are imported and whole train - engine, coach and tracks will be maintained by Japanese. And GOI WILL HAVE TO PAY DOLLARS FOR PROFITS JAPANESE EARN FROM THESE TRAINS.. .

So IMO, more Duranto , more Shatabdi and more Rajdhani with more of existing tracks is better than Japanese High speed train.. They why is SoNaKe and CoBhApSwaRa opposing local expansion and insisting on Japanese trains?

Please ask them. But this is an awfully wrong decision, The bullet train with Rs 2000 for Ahmedabad-Mumbai will take away huge Ahmedabad-Mumbai traffic and will create huge forex burden on India. And it saves only 35% of time and only 1 hour.

What CoBhaApSwaRa and SoNaKe have been doing for years and decades is opposing all law-drafts that would improve Railways. So Railways didnt improve, middle class got frustratated and eventually the middle class has started supporting FDI !! More and more youth and middle class now sees us "Swadeshi" as useless people !! Thats because fake-Swadeshies such as workers of BJP, RSS and BST projected themselves as true Swadeshi, opposed FDI etc, But they all also opposed the law-drafts needed to improve Indian Railways and factories in general. And finally NaMo, BJP-workers, RSS-workers and BST-workers started supporting 100% FDI in railways defence etc. Whereas "true Swadeshi": such as people of Right to Recall Group did not get much coverage and our proposals to improve law-drafts to improve factories, railways etc didnt get much reach. Now much of the voters only saw the fake Swadeshies, namely workers of BJP, RSS and BST. And so they think that all Swadeshi are fake and useless.

So finally what is solution? IMO, one needs to decide whether 100% FDI in Railways and High Speed Rails , and forex burden they create, is good for India or bad for India. And if he thinks that 100% FDi is good, then should join SoNaKe and CoBhApSwaRa. If he thinks that 100% FDI in railways should be stopped, then he should stop wasting time on SoNake-pooja, and stop wasting time with CoBhApSwaRa workers and instead work with us Recallists.
